hey y'all.
my name is andee and i play drums in a minor forest. i realize a lot of people are wondering about us breaking up. unfortunately, we have decided to stop playing together. it's been a long time (6 years), and it seemed like time to try some new stuff. i met a lot of washer people on tour, and i just wanted to say thanks to everyone who was so cool and supportive, and sorry to everyone who was annoyed by the noisey bit on the new record and the locked groove 12"(no locked grooves on the split with gainer though). we just like that sort of stuff. there's still a bunch of stuff coming out: a split 7" with sweep the leg johnny, a cd with all the old singles, compilation tracks, weird video footage(incl. 'the tube') and stuff, including the 12" without the locked grooves!, and the metallica 12" split with the champs.
in case people are interested, erik has a new band called the threnody ensemble. two acoustic guitars and cello. very pretty. john and i have a new band called ticwar, much heavier and weirder.
anyway, just wanted to set the record straight, say thanks to people for caring about our band, and let people know what was up in the future. feel free to write, just to shoot the shit or whatever.
