| Macha Loved Bedhead EP TT34:06 CD 2000 Jetset Records | |
| SONGS:
You and New Plastic | |
| BEDHEAD | |
| NOTES: In 1999, before the demise of Texas band, Bedhead, the band's two principal songwriters, brothers Matt and Bubba Kadane sent songs-in-progress to their old friends Joshua McKay, Mischo McKay, and Kai Reidl of Macha, in Athens. The project became a long-distance collaboration resulting in a five song EP which includes a cover of the CHER MEGAHIT "BELIEVE". What's the EP like? It's a Frankenstein-job of the Bedhead's velvety-smooth guitar clusters, and Macha's opium-flavored oblivion. Bedhead's downshifted, superchill rhythm, and Macha's boozy zithermania. " We have no idea what it's going to sound like."-- Bubba Kadane " Who is Bedhead? "-- Mischo Mckay
