- "The Magick H8-Ball" premieres at MIX21 NYC for October 15-19 2008:
- An interactive video installation featuring Sophia Lamar, which is a dark comedic reinterpretation of the classic fortune-telling children's toy, the Magic 8-Ball. After asking a yes-or-no question, the viewer presses the "H8" button of the piece; Sophia's floating head appears and reads the fortune in her infamously hateful & insulting manner. Special thanks to Burle Avant, Ned Stresen-Reuter, Mikey Lamar and Evan Monster.
"A Well Hung Monk" will premiere at MIX21 NYC as part of the program X Marks the Spot to be screened Fri, October 17 at 10PM.
- Documentation of a Performacoid Installation featuring Jhonn Balance (of COIL). This piece is built from polaroid photographs taken by Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson of the magick sex ritual by Black Sun Productions (Massimo & Pierce) featuring Balance as their victim, during their "Plastic Spider Thing 11" performance in Coil's English home, The North Tower, on August 23, 2002. The performance is a highly moral yet sexually explicit exploration into the relationship between the spider and the fly. The music by Black Sun Productions is an homage to Jhonn Balance. Massimo & Pierce had an extensive and ongoing collaboration with Coil.

"Veneration X", a video by Daniel McKernan based on the self-titled track from Chemism by Black Sun Productions, in the experimental short films program (Forbidden Acts) at NewFest in NYC (June 2008).
"Das Gegenteil" and "Veneration X" screen in programs Anotherness & Soul Survivor at 7th Biennial Queer City Cinema (June 2008).
Co-currated HOMOCCULT & OTHER ESOTEROTICA with Richie Rennt, which premiered at MIX NYC (November 2007) and later screened at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco (May 2008), and OutFest in LA (July 2008).
- Curatorial enfant terrible Daniel McKernan brings the magickal, sexually transgressive short films he screened at last year's MIX NYC festival to the West Coast. Many of the films capture the spirit of arch-gay cinematic spell-casters Kenneth Anger and Derek Jarman, especially those made by the program's more (in)famous participants, such as Throbbing Gristle alumni Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson. The younger contributors, such as Black Sun Productions, are clearly influenced by P-Orridge and Christopherson's bold career choices; their homages make the films crackle with cross-generational currents of erotic, creative energy. -- Flavorpill
