the breaking of bread:

all must eat or perish. eating is not just impressions and air; it is the responsibility of every being to ensure that the corporeal part of the endeavour is sustained. every day during the week, you are invited, as a paying guest, to come and eat with The Hafler Trio and its operatives and associates, in various locations to be announced. the conversations will be recorded and relayed throughout the place of nourishment.

the sounds made by all participants in 'the breaking of bread' will be recorded, and so anyone wishing to stay off tape should either keep silent, or not attend. those that do are requested to bring things to talk about. the recordings will be incorporated later into either installations, actions or both.

Much to our regret, the meals to take place on the 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, and 27th June have had to be cancelled. The Breaking of Bread will still take place after the lecture/q&a on Wednesday 23rd (9pm) at Banana Store, and immediately prior to the film screening on Saturday 26th (6pm) at Story Deli. Please accept our sincere apologies for all disappointments caused by this turn of events.

The Banana Store will serve as the h3o eatery on Wednesday 24th June. At 9pm or thereabouts, the fun and frolics shall begin.

Story Deli. 3 Dray Walk. The Old Truman Brewery. 91 Brick Lane. London E1 6QL
Story Deli will become the ravintola at which to be on Saturday 26th June. Please be present at 6pm for pre-cinematic vittles.
