The record that kept is in the biz.  I wanted to release a single with Eggs, but I got Viva Satellite! instead.  All said and done, not a bad deal.  This "French" band consisted of Rob Christiansen and Lauren Feldsher.  After this single, they were courted by several major labels and a bidding war ensued.   However, being from Wahington DC, the pressure from the DIY police was far to great to withstand.  In the end, they signed a 1,000,342 record deal with Teenbeat, Inc. (a Divison of Sony) for an advance of $.68 and a box of Ju-Ju Beans (or so the rumor goes...).  ...Just kidding Mark.
