I've spent so much time in the last ten years trying to get the best possible sound out of our pressings. So much time, in fact, that I felt like I deserved this shirt. Inspired by (or stolen from) the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs logo.

Double sided and printed on an American Apparel tee. These were printed on white so that you could die them any color you wanted. Go to the craft store, grab some dye and go crazy... Or just keep them white. Unfortunately, Conifer is no longer so these are the last official Conifer tees.

IMPREC240 isn't a record it's an homage to the classic car of the same numeration. The Important parking lot is littered with 240 wagons on a regular basis. Volvo manufactured the 240 between 1974 and 1993 and Jan Wilsgaard's design is absolutely stunning. My favorite viewing angle is from the back of a pre-1981 245 as illustrated for our shirt by Rutger Zuyderfelt.

We recently commissioned a set of shirts from Broken Press. The 2nd design was printed in a run of only 20 and sent out to record shops with the new Grails/Cluster/Dan Friel releases.

Stephen O'Malley, aside from being an amazing graphic designer, is also a member of Sunn O))), Ginnungagap, Lotus Eaters. Musically and visually his work is fascinatingly diverse and uniquely his own. Visit Stephen at Ideologic

Boston based designer Darryl Norsen manages to bring a whole new thing to the classic art of screen printing. He's been doing tons of amazing work designing posters for the likes of Sunburned Hand Of The Man, Sonic Youth, Magik Markers Wolf Eyes, Six Organs Of Admittance and a bunch more. The work of John Fahey has been a huge influence on Important and this t shirt is a tribute to Fahey and his Takoma record label. This design is based on the original Takoma Records logo.

Limited edition t shirt designed by Jenny Akita. Minazo was the cover star and inspiration for Merzbow's album Merzbeat released on Important in 2002. Minazo died in 2005 at the Japanese aquarium where it lived and this shirt is our tribute to the great Minazo.
