John Fahey and Ayal Senior layed down the tracks for Three Day Band in Fahey's Woodburn Hotel room at some point in 1999. These tracks show an undocumented improvisational side of Fahey. It's certainly not early period Fahey but not TOTE era either. At night after the recording sessions commenced Ayal would record Fahey reading selected excerpts from his writing. Recently we were lucky enough to obtain a small collection of original paintings by John Fahey. The majority of the collection is being kept in a personal collection though we're making 4 available paired with white label test pressings for Hitomi. Each is an original painting by Fahey and not a print. Each is signed and dated and protected in a resealable Japanese lp bag.

Northern Stains is the result of a collaboration between experimental phenomenon Carlos Giffoni and Spunk/Fe-Mail members Maja Ratkje & Hild Tafjord. This trio finally met when Giffoni booked Fe-Mail to headline the sunday night of his genere defining Brooklyn based 3 day No Fun Festival in 2005. Early in 2006 Giffoni boarded a flight to Norway and Northern Stains was born in Spunk's Oslo studio.
