Greetings 9 was an EP released on the Italian label Materiali Sonori in 1989
and featured three tracks from a French concert plus three new studio
tracks, all of which are primarily semi-experimental throwaways.
"Premonition 11" was from a 1987 7" record shared with another band and,
expanded here, represents yet another installment in the LPD's Premonition
experiments, which are mostly instrumental pieces of electronic noodling.
"Premonition 4" can be found on Brighter Now; "Premonition 16" (complete
with a wonderful Ka-Spel lyric) was originally on the Curious Guy EP of 1986
and later appended to the CD of The Lovers. "Premonition 11" also features
a Ka-Spel vocal and is one of the better entries in the series. For belated
American issue in 1996, Soleilmoon Recordings retitled the disc as It's
Raining In Heaven and replaced the cover art with more of their
characterless sepia-toned photography, but the musical content is the same.
