Kristian Vester is the ex Danish pig farmer known as Goodiepal. He has also recorded as Mainpal Inv. and more recently Gaeoudjiparl. His music is very personal and as with most great things, difficult to categorize. He is very prolific in electronica circuits but because he prefers 7" vinyl, stupidly limited 12" picture discs, absurdly limited lathe cut vinyl and split releases his records are very hard to obtain.

Vester was born and raised in a small town in the north of Denmark. The European rave explosion hade a significant impact on the youthful Goodiepal, and he started making electronic music. He has also worked as a sound designer and programmer for firms like Nokia and Lego, but those days are over. He says he has moved to the Faroe Islands retiring from making new music. Instead he works as a nurse in an old people’s home, while continuing to tour actively. “A genuine eccentric” are the words most often heard describing his live appearances, where he plays vinyl records and Faroe folk instruments and puts on display various small, inexplicable objects built by himself, such as mechanical birds and miniature models of planets.

In 2008 Goodiepal expanded his mort aux vaches here on V/Vm Test as another free download, he also made a book and began to wage a war against the Danish Education System.
