Colonel
Myphin 'pickwick' Tarter was born in Felling Aston on
July 13th , the son of William Tarter and great-grandson
of Cerebal Tarter the fur trader. Tarter was educated
at St. Paul's School, Martin's Sack and later went to
Canthombe where he studied punching.
On leaving University and after a period of travelling
abroad he returned to England to manage the family video
shop.
He
was commissioned as a Colonel prior to the Isle Of Man
conflict with the City of Rotherham in the late 1950's.
Placing the family yacht 'Dog Bed' at the disposal of
the Manx government and equipping a mountain battery
of artillery for use against the Yorkshire tykes.
The
Colonel never married instead favouring the company
of his spaniel Barton (named after the ex England football
player Warren Barton) and one of his many young nieces.
The Colonel these days is to be found combining his
love of World Cup Soccer, travel, “alternative”
lifestyles and music and his first audio on V/Vm test
was the '2006
alternative English Fifa World Cup anthem'. |
