New tracks have been made aping the original style. Music has become fun to make again as the intention has not been about progression but in capturing a spirit of the past.

By trying to remake New Beat certain rules have been followed. The speed of the tracks has been limited at a time when it's cooler to slam out fucked up and broken tracks at over 200bpm. What you'll find here are mainly 4/4 beats at between 95bpm and 122 bpm. Simple and repetitive melody lines over slamming acidic basslines. All in true keeping with the orginal New Beat sound.

It's also cool to be able to introduce a few new people to New Beat as well and it's hoped that some people will investigate this genre further and that the old Belgian sound will hit the almost stale sounding club soundsystems. There was always more to the development of Electronic music than just the sounds of Chicago and Detroit.
