Completed In June 2002, Urbis is situated in Manchester's Cathedral Gardens, in the city's new Millennium Quarter. It houses an exhibition designed to '...tell the "peoples story" of cities and uses leading-edge technology to dramatize the most far-reaching and significant experience in human history, urbanization'. The exhibition is designed to take you on a journey, exploring life in different cities across the world, and also to inform the visitor about the development of the city of Manchester over the past 200 years.
These recordings were taken during a visit subsequent visit having worked producing and installing a number of the interactive exhibits within Urbis.
