I
have to admit i love sports where the emphasis is on boozing
as well as playing. Snooker and Poker fall into this category,
you can drink while you play both which is always a bonus.
The best one though has to be Darts. Every year around Christmas
and New Year i take time out to watch both the PDC Darts Championship
and also the Lakeside World Championship. The PDC seems much
better with its endless wins for Phil Taylor, but you gotta
love the one at the Lakeside where Dutch darts king Raymond
Van Barneveld (seen left) reigns supreme. Last year i also
saw a ringer for Barney at a bus stop in Whalley Range. Very
strange. |
