It's
been well documented elsewhere just how much i love Belgian
New-Beat. In celebration of the fact that in two weeks time
i will be in Brussels drinking the beer, eating chocolate
and drinking even more strong beer, accept this new beat flavoured
offering. When i was fifteen i used to love those records
with the five letter code to new beat "SABAM". I
never at that age realised that sabam was the copyright of
Belgium in the same way MCPS is in Britain. For me back in
the day it was about knowing that the 12" i had dug out
of a box would probably contain some dirty, grinding acid
music, those were the days my friend. |
