really wanted to get out into Manchester this evening but
was dead on my feet as the weeks packing, email and audio
work caught up on me and i found myself in an unusually mute
state. My friend Andrew was up from Cambridge watching UM
and Ascoltaire play at the Roadhouse so it was
a shame i had to miss them all but when all you can do is
grunt you know the game is up and it's time to slip on the
slippers and take it easy. I did watch some of the World Cup
through bleary eyes, the Mexico vs Argentina match was a classic,
end to end stuff which beats the usual boring defensive play
you so often see.
