AUSTRALIAN TOUR NOVEMBER 2006 Our hero of the troubled seas Sir Al Duvall hits Australia for the first ever time with Banjo and Kazoo for a tour to help celebrate a new album release on Dual Plover records. For this his first touring visit to Australia as a civilian (Al was stationed in the dirty half mile during world war two) he is being joined by Australia's own all singing all dancing queen of the burgeoning underground show tunes scene Singing Sadie. A lady whose songs hark back to the war years, a simpler time, when singing prowess was often overlooked favouring instead sharp and biting lyrics centred on drinking, dancing and prostitutes long passed their used by date, sung and danced with all the skill and execution of Florence Foster Jenkins. This terrible two some will be executing their special brands of musical expertise all over the eastern seaboard this November.
