It's been a while since there was any news. This year i've taken some time out after the hectic productive year of 2006 and one track a day style of living. All of the projects outlined as happening on previous mailouts are a little further on since we last conversed. The retrospective box-set will be out at somepoint in 2008, there are albums by The Caretaker and The Stranger nearing completion. Audio on other projects is ongoing also with no release dates. I am here right now to sell you nothing and give you audio once again for FREE.

The Thatcher release will more than likely be on those classic symbols of 80's music, Cassingle and Compact Disc. The audio will be finished over the next couple of months, so should Maggie croak it (we keep our fingers crossed) i will not provide the celebratory music and may suggest you dig out your favourite Chas'N'Dave album to compliment your knees up should she freeze to death in the winter of our discontent.

This year has been a very difficult year for all truely independent labels, survival is hard for many reasons but i am happy to report that interest in the activities of V/Vm Test have never been better. Of course I am proud to again report that even though I personally struggle I am able to still offer free music and more free music than almost all labels out there. I understand i could charge for this music and keep getting approached by music providers, but i prefer to treat people as adults and hope that in return i gain your support and trust in many different ways even if it means more of a struggle.

Of course the survival of the label is achieved directly through sales from the V/Vm Test mail-order and the donations for the vukzid audio which is given away for free (We like to include everybody and exclude nobody). If you have donated or purchased releases this year than many thanks again for your support, without it i would be without food and shelter so everything helps me out.

MU - the album collection (2002-2005)
Archived music from my friend in Taiwan, MU. These downloads include his 2003 album "BBBunny!BBunny!!Bunny!!!" which i released on compact disc on V/Vm Test. The audio you will find spread across these downloads is comprised mainly of harsh data outbursts, data breakdowns and static.

THE CARETAKER - deleted scenes/forgotten dreams
This 2007 release on WeMe has been encoded from the masters for your free download. Available until now only on 2x12" vinyl or poorly ripped MP3 files taken from the vinyl this is the release in full in 320kbps digital stereo. Also included with the MP3 files is some selected Caretaker press along with an interview i did for Fact Magazine as part of series of interviews based on Ambient music.

A vast array of vulgar pieces, glimpses into the foul and uncomfortable, intermingling with voice,speech, deafening silence and vomit create this pure utter musical torment.There is no code, no real rhyme or reason for the epic temper tantrum that is Sgure.

CHRIS MOSS ACID - cassette tracks (volume 2)
...and so to Volume number two of Chris Moss Acid's cassette tape tracks. A downloadable slab of 606-707-101-303 goodness and badness. Two extended emissions featuring numerous acid ditties perfect for burning to cassette for your brick sized walkmans on a low quality ferric 60 tape.
