ANDREW CHALK's was active as early as 1985 under the Nine and Ferial Confine aliases. He also worked with many associates over the years, such as David Jackman (Organum), The New Blockaders, Darren Tate (as Bird Cage Walk, Accoy, and Ora), Jonathan Coleclough, Giancarlo Toniutti, and more recently with Robin Barnes (as Isolde) and Naoko and Daisuke Suzuki (as Ghosts on Water).

Andrew Chalk with Naoko Suzuki and Daisuke Suzuki - Senshu (CD-R+Book/CD, FARAWAY PRESS, U.K., FARAWAY 04, 2005/07) Tracks: Ukigiri / Koyurugi / Untan First edition of 100 numbered copies in handmade book, as a follow-up to "The Days After". Second edition comes in a regular CD sleeve, the first 250 copies of which coming in a fold-out cover format.

Darren Tate - Remains (CD-R, FUNGAL, U.K., 011, 2004) Recorded in 1985-86 and remastered in 2004 by Andrew Chalk.

Andrew Chalk and Daisuke Suzuki - The Days After (CD-R, THREE POPLARS, GERMANY, 3P-11, 2003) (CD, FARAWAY PRESS, U.K., FARAWAY 11, 2007) Tracks: Kasuri / Flaxen First edition of 150 numbered copies in handmade sleeves. Second edition comprises an extended version of the second track.

Brendan Walls - Cassia Fistula (remix) (7", IDEA, U.S.A., 2005.1, 2002) Tracks remixed by Andrew Chalk on one side, and by Christoph Heemann on the other. Edition of 300 copies in regular white paper jacket.

The New Blockaders - Gesamtnichtswerk (4CD BOXSET, HYPNAGOGIA, U.K., TNB20, 2002) Two versions of this release are in existence: a hand-made CD-R edition of 50 copies and a subsequent regular CD version of 500 copies. Ferial Confine contributed to the track "Live at Morden Tower 04/94".

Jonathan Coleclough - Minya (CD-R, STRANGE CIRCUS, JAPAN, SCCDR07, 2000) (CD, INTEGRATED CIRCUIT, U.K., ICR 040, 2004) Live recording in Perth Australia, using material originally recorded with Andrew Chalk and Colin Potter. First edition of 111 copies in handmade sleeves. A different version of "Minya" was released on the "Makruna/Minya" CD in 2004.

Andrew Chalk, Ralf Wehowshy and Eric Lanzillotta - Yang-Tul (LP, ANOMALOUS, U.S.A., NOM 3, 1999) First track entitled "Wycha" was composed by Andrew Chalk, using material from Ralf Wehowsky. Second track entitled "Chalawy" was composed by Ralf Wehowsky, using material from Eric Lanzillotta and Andrew Chalk. The cover painting is by Andrew Chalk. First edition of 548 on blue vinyl and second edition of 419 on green vinyl.

Old Hive (7", DIE STADT, GERMANY, DS22, 1998) "Old Hive" was recorded by Andrew Chalk in 1986 and remixed and re-edited by Christoph Heemann in 1998. The split 7" with John Duncan comes in a numbered limited edition of 300 copies on black vinyl. The first 55 copies are signed. A second pressing of 110 numbered copies on red vinyl. The last 30 copies came with a laser printed insert instead of regular cover. The track was released in its original form on Andrew Chalk's cassette "Crescent" in 1986, and it appeared again in its final remixed form on Andrew Chalk's CD of the same name in 2000.

Andrew Chalk and Jonathan Coleclough - Sumac (12", SIREN/ROBOT, JAPAN/U.S.A., SIREN 01/ROBOT 15, 1997) (CD, INTEGRATED CIRCUIT, U.K., ICR 030, 1999/2003) One-sided transparent 12" with insert in plastic sleeve, in an edition of 300 copies. The CD offers an extended 71 minute version of the same piece, in a first edition of 500 copies. It was repressed in 2003.

The New Blockaders - TNB est mort! (2CD, TESCO, GERMANY, 022, 1995) Edition of 1000 copies in boxset, with booklet.

The New Blockaders - Final Live Performance (CD, SIREN/ROBOT, JAPAN/U.S.A., SIREN 04/RR 11, 1994) Joint release of 400 numbered copies. The sticker appearing on the CD backcover has been designed by Andrew Chalk.

The New Blockaders - Gesamtkunstwerk (7", SYNTACTIC, AUSTRIA, TNB 009, 1994) Limited to 60 numbered copies and extra promotional copies were made.

Andrew Chalk and Giancarlo Toniutti - Tahta Tarla (LP, PANS'URLO PANSERI, ITALY, G: RM-RN / 03RN, 1993) Tracks: Tienalauami / Workswood The 24-page booklet contains photographs and graphics collected by Andrew Chalk.

Organum - Kanal (7", DOM PRODUCTIONS, GERMANY, DOM V7-06, 1987) Tracks: Kanal (Part 1) / Kanal (Part 2) Credits given to Andrew Chalk and David Jackman. Material from these sessions were re-worked and used in Andrew Chalk's "Harvest" cassette release.

Organum - Horii (EP, LAYLAH ANTIRECORDS, BELGIUM, LAY 22, 1986) Tracks: Horii / Keloid The track "Horii" features David Jackman and Andrew Chalk. An alternate version of "Horii" can be found on Organum's "Volume Two" released on Robot Records in 2000.

The Mixed Band Philanthropist - The Impossible Humane (LP, SELEKTION, GERMANY, SLP 007, 1986) (CD, SIREN, JAPAN, SIREN 05, 1999) Tracks: The Beginnings of a Once Great Loneliness / Some Were Animated By Their Purest Motives / Confusion in the Mind of the Otherwise Healthy Boy / The Industry of Children & Machines / Horus Man (Enclaved By Wisdom) / The Impossible Humane Sound collage by The New Blockaders, using raw sound material from Bird Cage Walk and Andrew Chalk, among many others. The LP is limited to 300 copies and comes in hand-painted sleeves. The CD re-release has extra intro and outro bits and comes in an edition of 500 copies.
