A record label manifesto
History always favours the winners is the continuation of the works
and experiments I have been involved with on V/Vm Test.
Currently I am releasing works by The Caretaker, Leyland Kirby
and The Stranger alongside occasional archival re-issues of V/Vm
and some upcoming film projects.
You will not find any HAFTW works via corporate channels such as
iTunes, Beatport etc. as I prefer to retain control of my work and work
independently, outside and against mainstream distribution.
Working only in partnership with individually run companies by people
sympathetic to my output and or with simple ideals. I am lucky in still
retaining the same principles which have remained as strongly
independent as when I began releasing music in 1996 in a vastly

Illegally sharing releases is part of the digital landscape we must
survive in and always I have come to the conclusion that this helps
me find an audience who realise that works should be paid for
when possible and when interest is piqued.

which hopefully will help aid my survival and enable me to update
the equipment I am using right now.
