JACK CONTRIBUTES TO BRAINWAVES

Jack Dangers has contributed two unreleased songs to the triple CD set to benefit the Brainwaves Festival. "A Strange Case of Instrumentation" and "The Self Enjoy" were recorded in 1981 and 1982 respectively. Only 500 copies were made, and they were not distributed to stores. Remaining copies of the set are available directly through Brainwashed in the Commerce section.

MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO "Travelogue: Live 05" DVD OUT NOW!

The Travelogue: Live 05 DVD, companion piece to the Live 05 CD, was released by MVD November 21, 2006. It features a five-camera shoot of the Chicago Cabaret Metro show from June 2005 directed and edited by Ben Stokes plus additional cool insider on-tour footage. Available at fine stores everywhere! (And soon in the Meat Beat Manifesto Official Store.)

MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO WINS SAN FRANCISCO MUSIC AWARD

Meat Beat Manifesto won the award for best electronic act in the 17th Annual SF Weekly Music Awards. Congratulations Jack!

LATEST ON THE NEW ALBUM

Jack has just about finished recording the album. Last week he had Z-Trip up to the studio to guest on the album. Suffice to say given today's date it is unlikely that the album will now be out in the Spring as we'd hoped but early Summer is very likely!

The Tour CD while they last...

MBM just wrapped up their winter tour and the "LIVE '05" CD (which was sold exclusively during the tour) is now available for sale to those who couldn't get out to the shows. Recorded live at the Metro in Chicago last June, the CD is a numbered ltd. edition of 1000 with each digipak signed by Jack.

Meat Beat Manifesto and Thirsty Ear Recordings have released the remixable stems from the track "Wild," as heard on the album At the Center. MBM's team have split up the files in Session View and included a lesson file. To enter the contest, please send an MP3 of no more than 10 MBs to mbmremix@thirstyear.com with your full name included.
